A great site, I thoroughly enjoyed browsing and was particularly
taken with the way you have portrayed the beauty of your subject through
attention to detail. It's obvious you have a great affinity with your
subject. A personal inspiration for this humble "Liesure artist." I am very impressed with your paintings and am glad I
own a couple of originals as I know you will be famous some day. I do
hope it's soon for your sake. I hope this is your first guest book entry
from the States, will tell my friends The painting arrived today and we both LOVE it! The composition
and detail are wonderful! Thanks for your work on the painting and the
great packing also. Will watch for more of your work. Having bought several of your pictures in the past, I
was fascinated to see your website for the first time. It is certainly
very impressive, and is a worthy reflection of your most excellent work.
I have immediately added it to my "favourites" and will revisit often.
My only reservation is that I then followed the link and spent all night

care Hello, just wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed
this hour of gazing at the world your images opened up. I am an expatriate
Brit living in Chicago, and seeing the birds & animals in their so-British
settings was like being home again. The woods, the fields, the fenceposts,
the leaves... Some of the images made me gasp with pleasure or shiver
at how beautiful they were - "Dimpsey" in particular. I have been transported.
Thank you so much for an unexpectedly profound experience. (I was browsing
for a work project and was arrested by your site!) Keep painting I guess after just purchasing my third painting from you
Mike, it's about time I said something in your guestbook ! The web-site
is excellent and is one the best bird-art sites around. An epecially
nice touch is the "look at detail of the painting" giving a close up
view of a part of the picture. Even so, none of this can do justice
to the originals, which are nothing short of fabulous. I'm a very proud

I was browsing the internet for a photo of an owl for one of my artists to paint - I run a house sign business that makes a range of hand painted pictorial house signs - and happened to come across your site. I just have to let you know that I think your wildlife pictures are superb. The amount of detail you put into your work combined with the vivid colours makes them outstanding. Not only have you paid attention to the main wildlife subject but have also added the detail on the wooden posts or the chains which makes your art stand out from the crowd.
